Show Layton your Talent

Show Layton your Talent was on Saturday, June 13. It was amazing! There was so much and such and array of talent. There was a step dancer, fiddlers, singers, and family bands among others. I was truly blown away by the performers.

The third place winner was a group of 2 guys, Saal and Porter. They sang a hilarious song about marrying off their daughter called "No Take Backs." It was hysterical.

The second place winner was a brother and sister named Hema and Hevynn Heimuli. Their song was awesome and their voices were beautiful. They matched very well and their harmonies blew me away.

The first place winner was a girl named Jane Elizabeth Bruce. She sang a beautiful song with her Broadway voice. She was truly unbelievable and I can't wait to see where she goes with her talent.

Thank you for everyone who came to the show. Despite the rain, it was wonderful and we couldn't have asked for better.

Thanks to Lee Cannon for kicking everything off with the National Anthem. You did a fantastic job!

Weather

So I don't know about anybody else but this weather is driving me crazy. We shouldn't be having all of these thunder storms everyday like this. June should be sunny and warm, not dark and cold. It better clear up soon because our concerts are rain or shine. I don't want people sitting out there in the rain.

The Joe Muscolino Band website

Check out this website. I have been working on a press release for The Joe Muscolino Band concert on June 26 and I wandered on to their site and started listening to a litle bit of their stuff. Just go down to the little jukebox on the bottom right hand corner and you can listen to 17 different songs. They play a whole variety of genres but turn them into Big Band style music. They are really talented!
